Among many bird species from this magical setting, the spectacular and endangered Hyacinth Macaw will be the main target for this trip.

Hyacinth Macaw (Lelis Navarrete, 2004)
Bare-faced Curassow, Golden-collared Macaw, Ruby-topaz and White Monjita are some of the jewels which we will, for sure, be looking for along with mammal species that are on top of the wish list of any Naturalist in the world.
The Fantastic Pantanal
A six days trip in the Pantanal will expose us to one of the most famous ecosystems in the world. Here mammal species like Jaguar, Giant Anteater, Giant Otter, Ocelot and Mane Wolf will be among some of our sightings along with Hyacinth Macaw, Greater Rhea, Chaco Chachalaca, Nanday Parakeet, White Woodpecker, Red-billed Scythebill, Streamer-tailed Tyrant and Red-crested Cardinal.
Neblina Forest has explored many different lodges in this huge ecosystem: The Pantanal. Despite slight differences in the wildlife, they all can turn our visit into a memorable experience. For further information on five of the best Pantanal lodges
Itinerary
Day 1
Coming from Sao Paulo or in connection from a different city in Brazil, after an early afternoon arrival in Campo Grande or Cuiaba (depending on which lodge is of your preference), we will immediately take a few hours van ride to our lodge where we will check in. Depending on our time of arrival we might bird the last few hours of light, right around the lodge.
Day 2-5
Four full days exploring and surveying the different habitats in the lodge of your preference in the look for Jabiru, Southern Screamer, Long-winged Harrier, Long-tailed Ground-Dove, Blaze-winged Parakeet, Gilded Hummingbird, Pale-crested Woodpecker, White-lored Spinetail and Mato Grosso Antbird just to mention a few.
Depending on your stamina and interest some of the nights will not only see us going out in the search for owls but also for many of the mammals species that are better seen during the night.
Come with us and let us introduce you to the Fantastic Pantanal Species!
